Not only have we made our header much more slimline and chic, but we've also neatened up our categories so that your whole shopping experience with us is as enjoyable as possible.

80's Neon Retro Fashion!

Another style coming back into fashion this season is shiny retro jewellery using bright 80's neon colours! Great fun, relatively cheap to buy and will last for ages so can be pulled back out of the jewellery collection at times of need.

Orange Donut Neon Retro Earrings

Anything with bows is a big hit on our highstreets just now and the subtle combination between vintage fashion and 80's retro with the use of bright blue, red, pink and black combined with bright retro colours is really inspiring on the imagination and is rocking the country into a colour frenzy this autumn 2009.

Blue Glitter Bow Stud Earrings

Yes, when it boils down to our clothes we're wearing the same natural autumnal earthy tones but we're just being so much more clever about the colour combinations and contrasts when we accessorise. x x x

Some Important Fashion Tips This Autumn/Winter 2009

We're making todays fashion blog very simple to understand. Our fashion and jewellery experts have been busy bees, working hard to ensure we are always one step ahead when it comes down to bringing you the very latest fashion trend news.

This autumn and winter should be a happier time with the lead up to Christmas 2009, especially as the country is coming out of recession and people are starting to enjoy spending some money once again. If you haven't already started buying clothes for your winter wardrobe then here are some top style tips in plain English:-

  • Boho fashion is the business! Boho with a bit of a twist actually, blending chic glamour with boho will work a treat.
  • Oversized and fitted blazer jackets and suits with rolled up sleeves. If your boyfriends wont fit you then I'm afraid it's off to the shops.
  • Shoulder pads are back! Our team haven't decided yet if that's a good thing or bad?
  • For the women with little ankle bite daughters out there it's going to be socially acceptable to dress them like mini me's! However, bear in mind that this method could prove to be more expensive and end in tears.
  • Daytime sequins are splashed all over the shops. Patterned dresses, blouses even trousers are all boasting sequins to add some sparkle to your typical mundane Monday!
  • Studded clothes. If you're not keen on sequined clothes then studs could be your cup of tea. Studded leather and for those money wise girls, - pleather (false leather) pants/leggings will be in season this autumn and winter.
  • Hard versus soft. This is not a debate but merely a suggestion that along with biker fashion, wearing hard materials in contrast against soft will be all the rage.
  • Military jackets and military fashion. Brought in to pay homage to the great Michael Jackson of course.
  • Victorian cocktail dresses and antique florals. Vintage fashion is always a winner.

Boho Fashion Style Really Rocks!

City dress by french connection £150

Derby boot by French Connection £200

If you're looking for an exciting style this Autumn and Winter 2009 then boho fashion is definitely the way ahead. The season is not just about boho but boho with a twist, more sophisticated than ever before with a touch of rock chic glamour.

If you're not even sure what is boho then don't worry because it's quite simple. Basically it's unconventional and out of the ordinary fashion derived from hippie and bohemian influences. It's not ordinary, is very relaxed in style and exciting by nature.

Short sassy dresses with thigh high boots are key fashion essentials this fall with easy wearing black and combinations of pink and red. Add to these natural neutrals with boho accessories and you'll be laughing in the face of all those fashionista wannabes!

Black leggings, leather, daytime sequins and studs are also a must have for all you fashion conscious out there. More news on our website and take a look at these longer boho necklaces, which are a must have at a great price. x x x
