Don't Be Fooled By Over Expensive Fashion Jewellery!

As the title suggests, we reckon women of Britain and indeed the world over are unfortunately still being fooled into buying expensive costume jewellery. Unlike a lot of jewellery websites we want to be completely honest with our customers and let you ALL in on a little secret. Fashion jewellery is not fine jewellery, and you can be forgiven for spending a small fortune on real diamonds but not for Austrian crystal!!

What is Austrian crystal?

There is a huge misconception in the belief that Austrian crystals are something rather rare and very special. Infact, Swarovski jewellery use the exact same Austrian crystals that can be found in lots of sparkly jewellery. So although their jewellery is rather nice, it's the brand name that you are ultimately paying for. Austrian crystals are infact very common rhinestones known for their intense sparkle and diamond like qualities, and we include these very same crystals in almost all of our costume jewellery. The good thing is that we don't charge any extra for the brand!

For sure, if you look around the highstreet shops you'll find cheap jewellery alternatives but they're more than likely to be made using imitation diamante. A plastic alternative and cheap fashion choice! We sell cheap costume jewellery and great value fashion accessories but we use top quality materials, and only ever charge a fair price! You can be confident that in our case the age old saying that you get what you pay for simply doesn't exist! In terms of costume jewellery you don't get what you pay for, and we want to educate women into realising that cheaper doesn't mean poorer quality. So women of the UK and worldwide please feel free to join the band wagon in our quest to satisfy your fashion needs without emptying your wallet.

Summer Holiday Fashion Fun!

With the longest day having just passed on Sunday, we're most definitely heading into the height of Summer. It's only a month until the start of the school summer holidays when inevitably the streets will be littered with 1000's of bored kids, and most of us will be gearing up for our yearly Summer holidays abroad. Or will we?

We have spent a lot of time this year researching our customers feedback, and naturally it seems that the recession has had a huge impact on families. As a UK business we want to do our best to help everyone, including ourselves to be able to pull through these difficult times and come out at the other end, fighting fit! Many of you said that you and your families will be still be scrimping and saving to keep that well deserved break abroad, whilst others said they will simply be making the most out of a good British Summer holiday. So it would seem that a resurgence in camping, caravaning, Bed and breakfasts and barbecue’s is certainly on the horizon. Out of all the feedback we received you ALL stated one very important necessity, and it was the obvious, buy cheap and save money! Prepared to ditch buying over expensive luxury items, you all said you’d be far happier to save money, and that included buying cheaper fashion accessories and costume jewellery. Of course, if you could still get high quality then that would be a real bonus!

We asked women what aspects of fashion are top of your list this Summer. Here’s what you said:

School clothes for the kids! As crazy as it would seem considering schools haven’t even broke for the holidays, typical conscious minded parents are thinking ahead by getting the difficult essentials out the way and then relaxing. With ASDA currently doing great deals on school wear, now is a great time to do that.

Underwear. Well, what can we say? When times are tough us women put even more care into the things that really matter, and it would seen that light airy underwear and the ability to deal with hot summer weather is a top priority. Maybe it’s a comfort thing, or is it something to do with Summer naughtiness and feeling much more kinky and sassy!

Shoes. No good having all the summer gear if you ain’t got anything on those pegs to walk and flaunt it! As women we adore shoes and they adore us. We can never have too many shoes. Gladiator sandals are big news this summer and a must have fashion accessory.

Cheap fashion jewellery. When you’ve finally managed to find those floral dresses and Summer holiday clothes you then turn to looking for the accessories and costume jewellery to compliment. Summer is a time for letting go of lots of inhibitions and really opening up your mind to new fashion ideas. Summer 2009 fashion is about wearing big, bright and bold fashion accessories. Finding cheap fashion alternatives is high on your agenda, but it has to withhold the same quality you’re familiar with. Fussy lot aren’t you, but thankfully we love a challenge and want to help by giving you cheap Summer fashion of the highest quality.

Student Prom Accessories. Affordable, Unique & Great Quality!

Students of the UK and indeed of the world, your time of reckoning is finally upon you. Maybe you've had a great year, or in fact a great time studying in general, or on the other hand maybe you have hated every minute of it! Either way, there's a very good chance that if you haven't already done so then you soon will be taking to the dance floor at your college or university leaving prom, or end of year ball (to be more British about it).

HELP! Hair, make up, dress, jewellery & shoes. Oh and a handbag.

Most of us are indecisive at the best of times, but after the hard slog of exams brains can become extremely fragile and decisions even harder to make. Of course you will want to look totally fab being the envy of all your friends and the eye candy for all the guys, BUT sometimes we have to be a little realistic and keep our feet firmly on the ground. Okay there's a lot to be thinking about but let's break it down into the following easy steps.

- Hair. Are you going to do something risky and out of the norm? If so then be prepared for either a bad hair day or heavy criticism from the people you know, leading to big tears on the night! Or, you could go for something comfortable and just put that extra effort into the styling. Add hair accessories if you want.

- Make up. Just like the whole hair thing, it can also be best to kind of play it cool. After all, you're going to know the faces of most that you see and they're going to know you!- No point hiding behind the war paint and trying to convince everyone that you're beautiful! They'll have either already made up their own minds, or the beer goggles will certainly do the trick before the night is out.

- Dress. Yes, this is the most important part of the decision making but it is even possible to break down this decision process into something far easier to deal with mentally.
Please just buy something that looks nice. If you can't buy something then borrow something, and if you can't do either then go back into your wardrobe for something classic. Something you have worn before that wont be remembered and gained you plenty of compliments.

- Shoes. We make this choice difficult for ourselves because of our inbuilt passion for buying and storing new shoes all year round. Like a kangaroo storing food in its pouch we thrive on doing the same with our shoes. The problem is that we never use the darn things when we need them! Instead we go and buy more, and so the vicious cycle continues and never stops, amen. Don't fear though because it really is quite simple. Buy shoes in a colour that compliments your dress and you wont go far wrong. If you're tall then buy shorter heels and if you're short then get the biggest spikes on offer!

- Handbag. Easy one this! You might worry about this item more than you care to let on, but one fact will remain is that after the initial get together and a few drinks then there's a pretty good chance your bag will be the last thing on your mind or even anyone else come to think of it. I mean, as long as you don't arrive with an Aldi bag for life or something resembling Santa's sack then you're good to go.
Honestly, what you need is a nice sassy clutch bag and the job's done!

- Finally, Jewellery and accessories. The finishing touch and icing on the cake. Keep it simple and elegant or go bold and brave. Either way, it has to be unique.

The Apprentice 2009 Celebrity News Summary

It would seem the latest news from the world of TV is that everyone's talking about The Apprentice, so we want to have our little say too! There was certainly something slightly more addictive about the Apprentice this year than previous series and this years performers all had there own little quirks. Maybe because of the doom and gloom of our countries current political situation we all needed something to focus the intellectual parts of our brains on, and the Apprentice delivered on all levels. Highly entertaining and humorous!

Memorable flashbacks mentioned in the final include Pants man and James with his birthing pool exploits

To be honest there were loads of hilarious moments, and probably far too many to mention! I think we're all going to miss Margaret Mountford (just a little) when the next series arrives However, one thing we do want to say is that here at Seasons online we really wanted Kate Walsh to win. Let's not take anything away from Yasmina Siadatan who was a very worthy winner out of an impressive final show, but there was just something incredibly lovable about Kate. Her brummie tone accent and great fashion sense worked a treat, even if she did have a kinda wonky mouth at times.- What a fab set of teeth though!

If Kate wants to model our jewellery anytime she is more than welcome, and we certainly think she'll have a great future and if it's not in business then there's certainly room for someone like Kate in the fashion world. We wish her all the luck!

Timeless Jewellery Equals Great Fashion Every Time

When we think about looking good and being fashionable we tend to drum up a vision of almost complication and chaos. Our own inbuilt picture of style stems from celebrities and marketing companies bombarding us with pictures of our celebrity idols fully geared up with all the accessories known to woman. Yeah, sure this can be great but we must remember that the lifestyle of a celebrity is far cry from our own, and there simply ain't enough hours in the day for us to fulfill our celebrity ambition every day of the week.

The truth is that there's really no need to waste hours every week and days every year on standing in front of a mirror worrying about what clothes are good to wear and what accessories will compliment them. We should all have some simple timeless jewellery on stand by for those days when we actually want and need to get something done in a hurry! Actually, quite often the old saying that, 'Less is more' hits the nail on the head and we should take a little inspiration from this.

Christina Ricci. Simple studs with effective results.

Most definitely by dressing up with simple fashion essentials we will look great with an almost effortless perfection saving us a whole heap of time and ultimately a load of money! Gaining confidence has never been easier and it's highly recommended that all women own the following jewellery essentials.

Clear Crystal Classic Stud Earrings (8mm) £3-50.

Single crystal drop necklace £4-99.

Crystal drop earrings £3-50.

Super XL celebrity style studs £4.99
