Of course, most of us aren’t fortunate enough to live somewhere as glitzy as LA. However, whether you’re planning to spend your weekend at a lavish launch in London or a back garden in Grimsby, there’s absolutely no reason to ditch the style and opt for flip flops and your boyfriend’s oversized Iron Maiden teeshirt – complete with paint stains.
Make sure your legs are fuzz-free, you’ve exfoliated and doused your entire being in an industrial-strength moisturiser. If your colouring is currently that of a three day dead fish, you’re probably also best considering some fake tan too.
Once you’re smooth, sleek and brown, slip on your most gorgeous maxi, kaftan or, if you’re feeling brave, bikini or all in one (remember, if you have a bit of a tum, a rouched front hides a multitude of sins!) Choose a gorgeous pair of heels, the latest must-have hat for this season – a fedora, and a classic pair of sunnies. Mix yourself a large Mojito and settle down on your sun lounger with your cocktail and a copy of OK! Magazine. It’s hot and so are you! Have fun pretending you’re posing around a pool in Malibu and you’ll soon lose sight of the fact you’re in your mum’s back garden in Surbiton!
Style isn’t something you simply wear on your body, it’s a state of mind. By making yourself look as good as you possibly can may seem artificial, but don’t underestimate the effect it will have on your self-esteem and the confidence that you’ll begin to exude to other people.
Take a look at celebrities in the fashion magazines and if you see anything that you like, simply adapt your wardrobe to match theirs. You don’t need to have millions in the bank, just a keen eye and a lot of imagination.
Take Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria for example, snapped recently trying on some sunnies in a store on Sunset Boulevard. Note that the oversized shades look is still very much in fashion and that she’s gone for this season’s popular trend of chunky bangles to glam up an otherwise average outfit.

This look can be easily copied, even for those on a tight budget. Just take a look at our Seasonsonline website to put together Eva’s look.
Firstly, the sunnies.

We also have a range of chunky bangles to make sure you’re spot on in the trend stakes and with prices ranging from £4.99, you’ll not be out of pocket, either.

Have fun in the sun this weekend guys x x x
