We’re Zoe Disappointed

Despite the whole World Cup thing gripping the nation at the moment, the Seasonsonline team is sad. So sad in fact that offers of family sized bars of Galaxy have even failed to raise a smile.

Why are we down? Because seasons 1 and 2 of the Rachel Zoe Project have come to an end on Really TV.

For a few weeks now, 8pm was our signal to gather, either singly or en masse in front of a TV, with a large glass of wine, to view the blonde, bronzed goddess herself, failing miserably to manage an outspoken, frosty Taylor and the hopelessly confused yet oddly likeable Brad.

Night after night, our language strangely changed and we began as one to speak in tongues: “OH. MY. GOD. I. DIE”, “That. Is. So. Amahzing”.That outfit is literally bananas”. And the funny thing is, no-one even brought up the fact that we sounded ridiculous.

The drama, the tantrums, the drama, the glamour, the drama. Fantastic viewing and frankly, we can’t wait until season 3 – we’re like, literally dying.

For those of you who like aren’t at the top of your game (we will stop, I promise) and don’t know who the fabulous Ms Zoe is, she is one of the best known stylists in Hollywood. With a celebrity client list as long as your tanned, toned arm, she includes her many “friends” as Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Garner, Debra Messing and Liv Tyler.

Rachel certainly does have her own unique style, for which she has become famous – it’s all about vintage with this stylist, as she takes us around some of the best vintage shops in Paris, New York and LA. Looking like a great option as the next singer for Fleetwood Mac, she personifies boho chic, with her extensive range of fake furs, impossibly high heels and hippy tops, “excessorised” (sorry again) with enough bling to make Mr T turn green with envy.

But of course, red carpet events are what Rachel does best – both for her clients and, now that she’s a celebrity in her own right, herself. And let’s face it, she scrubs up extremely well (mind you, so would we with our own hair and makeup artist). Here she is with Kate Hudson at the Rachel Zoe Project launch party in New York, a couple of years ago.

The drop necklace she’s wearing works beautifully with a low cut “v” neckline – particularly with a tan. For your own version of RZ’s show stopping outfit, George at ASDA has a great version for £18.

To avoid looking like a cast member of Dynasty, however, you’ll need to bring it down a little, and this belt from Accessorize will break up the outfit and make it that little more funky.

With a neckline this low, you really need a drop necklace to accentuate your décolletage. Seasonsonline has the perfect piece for this – a gorgeous sterling silver floral freshwater pearl necklace with flower, butterfly and peach droplets. At £8.99, it’s absolutely bananas.
