Jordan - Oops she's doing it again!

Yes, girls and boys, it’s time again to haul those ear muffs out of the drawer. No, winter hasn’t come early (although one look out of the window suggests it might be hiding behind that post box over there), but we are about to experience something else that makes us feel uncomfortable and want to pull the duvet up over our heads….

Sadly, it’s worse than 4 foot snow drifts – The latest news is that Jordan is to release another new single.

No, come back, we haven’t finished!

A friend of the glamour” girl has kindly penned a dance track for her. Sensibly, this friend has so far chosen to remain nameless. Katie/Jordan/Mrs Reid says: “I love the tune and hope you guys do too”. Yes….

But perhaps we’re being too harsh and the team at the Seasonsonline office can never be accused of following the herd. Let’s look at Jordan’s musical career history to date.

First of all, we had her entry to represent the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005. A huge, heavily-pregnant vision in pink, she strutted her stuff as much as an expectant mother can, as she belted out that classic, “Not Just Anybody”. Moving on then..

Next, we had the unforgettable duet with ex husband, Peter Andre – that beautiful ballet, a cover version of the one originally performed by Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle. That was a good idea then. Still, a couple of you must have liked it, as their album reached number 20 in the charts.

But we digress. Back to 2010. Ms Price/Mrs Reid informs us that the single is to be released on Monday 12 July, so brace yourselves.

In the meantime, we’ve been spending our time constructively in the office, deliberating on other music tunes which have managed to set our teeth on edge over the years, and have come up with a top ten of real corkers. Which ones make you leave the room?

“What’s the matter you?” – Joe Dolce

“There’s no one quite like grandma” – St Winifred’s School Choir

"Anything" by Celine Dion

“Mr Blobby

“The Final Countdown” – Europe

“Star Trekkin” – The Firm

“Only You” – The Flying Pickets

“Ooh Aah” – Gina G

“Saturday Night” – Whigfield

Macarena” – Los del Rio

Seems our girl’s in excellent company then! Despite our strong reservations, we’ll give her the benefit of the doubt and an unbiased ear. Let us know your thoughts, after you’ve heard it too.
