Rocking the gladiator look

As you know, gladiator sandals are THE trend for this season and can be either flat and funky, matched with shorts or jeans; or come with a killer heel and some fabulous colours, to dress up an outfit for the evening.

Rarely can a particular style of fashion accessory be worn either on the fields at Glastonbury or on the red carpet in Hollywood!

So why not take it one step further and go with the whole gladiator or Grecian (what’s the difference?  Don’t ask me, I failed history) theme for a look that’s elegant, sexy, and is sure to make a big impression?

Here’s a great example of how to glam up your gladiator:

Kirsty Gallacher has managed to make this into a formal look, which could even be used in the office.

Alternatively, for a hot summer night’s “do”, Halle Berry, who’s never yet looked anything less than gorgeous (jealous, moi?) looks, erm, gorgeous in a full on Grecian extravaganza.

Although Halle has chosen to go with the chunky bracelet look, cuffs I think work particularly well.   I’ve put together a selection for you which will match any colour theme – just remember to keep it plain.  Oh – and spray on the fake tan beforehand, or you’ll look less like a Grecian goddess and more like a ghost!

A superb square design and detail patterned finish is both elegant and classic.  This cuff has a strong spring hinge clasp fastening.   Available for £6.99.

This has to be my personal favourite, and I have it at home.  It’s classy, it’s simple, and you can wear it with absolutely anything, without cutting your circulation off.  Only £5.99.

It’s shiny, it’s eyecatching – and it gives a more modern feel to what is essentially a classic look.  This cuff has a rope theme, but do remember that your sandals will also need to be in a lighter shade of gold too – or even a nude colour would be good here.  It’s available for £5.99.

All of the accessories above are of course sourced from www.seasonsonline.co.uk.  Treat yourself in time for your summer holiday – and let your goddess out!
